Worship: A Journey of Intimacy

Of all the things that I look forward to when I get to heaven, the thing that I will enjoy the most is being united, being one with Jesus. I tremble with anticipation at experiencing intimacy with the lover of my soul. Eph 5:31-32 "For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh."   32 This is a profound mystery — but I am talking about Christ and the church. Rev 19:7 For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. This is a difficult concept for most men to grasp, that we, as the church, are His Bride. We will become one with him as a husband becomes one with his wife.
