The Supremacy of Christ: Our Humble Savior

Though supreme above all creation, He chose to humble Himself and become one of us. This paradox of the all-powerful Creator becoming a vulnerable human being is at the heart of our faith and offers profound insights for our daily lives. The book of Hebrews paints a vivid picture of Christ's supremacy. He is described as greater than Moses, greater than the angels, and greater than anything we could compare Him to. Yet, this same Jesus willingly endured suffering for our sake. The author of Hebrews urges us to "pay much closer attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it" (Hebrews 2:1).
